Disinfectant & Window Cleaner
2 cups water
1 cup clear rubbing alcohol
2 tablespoons non-sudsing ammonia
Mix well in a spray bottle.

Disinfectant Scrubber
1 teaspoon borax
1/2 teaspoon washing soda
2 Tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup very hot water
In a sprayer bottle combine the borax, washing soda and lemon juice.
Add the very hot water and shake well to mix and dissolve the dry ingredients.
To use spray onto the surface and then wipe off with a sponge or rag.
This cleaner can be stored indefinitely and it also helps retard the mildew to some extent.
Disinfecting Soft Scrubber
This is one of my favorite recipes. I use it on the bathtub, shower, sinks and counter tops.
1/2 cup baking soda
Enough liquid soap or detergent to make a frosting like consistency.
5 to 10 drops antibacterial essential oil such as lavender
Place the baking soda in a bowl.
Slowly pour in the liquid soap, stirring until the consistency reaches that of a frosting.
Add the essential oil and mix well.
Scoop the mixture onto a sponge and wash the desired surfaces.
Then rinse clean.
